Day 1 Arrive Kathmandu
It is a panoramic thrill flying into Kathmandu on a clear day. The views of snow-capped mountain peaks sprawling down below you are almost ecstatic, beginning a whole chain of memorable experiences that stay with you for a long, long time. A representative and driver from our office will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. The representative will help you check into your designated hotel. At the hotel you will be briefed about your daily activities.
Day 2 Sightseeing in Kathmandu
After an early breakfast, you will be taken to the major sightseeing places in & around Kathmandu valley. Your guide will escort you to historic monuments, temples, monasteries, palaces and UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Durbar Square of Hanuman Dhoka, Buddhist Stupas of Swoyambhunath and Boudhanath, Hindu temples of Pashupatinath etc. As you travel along the exotic locales of Kathmandu, more diversified cultural settings in the valley welcome you with warmth and hospitality. At Swoyambhunath temple, you will gain an invaluable insight into Buddhism, Buddhist sect and Buddha Shakyamuni. At midday, we stop for lunch and then head towards Patan. As you explore Patan Durbar Square, Mahaboudha Temple, Kumbeshwor Temple, Krishna Temple, Golden Temple and many other places of Patan, you feel as if Patan has been unveiled before you as an open museum showcasing intricately carved windows, intrinsic roof struts, statues of gods and goddesses, temples designed in pagoda style with erotic carvings and repoussé metalwork facades and many other exquisite facets. You will also get to see handicraft centre in Patan. By the end of the trip you will be completely immersed in the beauty and richness of Nepalese culture.
Day 3 Drive to Pokhara, sightseeing in Pokhara
After a hearty breakfast, you proceed towards Pokhara, which is 200 km away from Kathmandu. On reaching Pokhara, you will be escorted to the best resort or hotel of your choice. With majestic sights of snow-capped mountain peaks and exquisite beauty, Pokhara is sure to have you mesmerized. Pokhara is most popular for its lakes Phewa, Begnas and Rupa. Your trip includes visits to all these exotic places. You can go for boating on these famous lakes. Exploring the deep-seated mysteries of intriguing caves like Mahendra Gupha will further heighten your adventure spirit. You will then be guided to other sightseeing places in Pokhara like the Davis fall, the gorge of the Seti River and Tibetan refugee camp. (see note on flying option).
Day 4 Fly or drive to Kathmandu
You fly or drive back to Kathmandu. After reaching Kathmandu, you can spend the rest of the day by indulging in independent activities of your interest.
Day 5 Depart Kathmandu
Our Nepalese support team will take you to the airport for your flight home. On the other hand, if you prefer to stay longer, you can go for short tours such as Safari at National parks, Rafting, Muktinath Pilgrimage tour, etc. - ask us. |
